| Ecological conditions of Perm worsens |
|
 Ecological
conditions in cities of Prikamye continues to worsen year after year. For
a year the index of pollution of atmospheric air has grown on the average in 1,5 times.
Perm has entered in ten the most polluted Russian cities. The
reasons of it in growth of manufacture at the enterprises of extracting, processing,
pulp-and-paper industries, a deterioration of the equipment,
increase in quantity of mobile transport, growth of
volumes of construction. And only some enterprises make efforts also

| The world day of an environment |
|
 Annually,
on June, 5th the World day of an environment which has
been founded at XXVII session of General Assembly of the United Nations on December, 16th, 1972
is marked. This
day there begins work the Stockholm conference on problems of
the environment, also for the first time last in 1972. The general Assembly
calls the states and the organizations of system of the United Nations annually to this day
to spend the actions confirming their aspiration to preservation and
improvement of an environment. The new organization the-program
of the United Nations on an environment (JUNEP) has been created. Under aegis JUNEP
the World day of an environment is annually marked.

May in Vladivostok will mark Day of a rhododendron. This day has
been thought up and organized by Botanical garden-institute DVO the Russian Academy of Science.
As
ecologists consider, Day rododentrona it is possible to consider as the second after Day of
a tiger the mass action, called to draw attention of people to knowledge
of the nature of Primorye Territory and careful to it the attitude. The rhododendron,

May in Moscow will pass an ecological march. More than 300 schoolboys in
suits of animals will pass from station of the underground of "mountain Vorobevy" up
to the Moscow city palace of children's and youthful creativity. In
such unusual image young ecologists of capital plan to draw attention
of the public to a distress of wildlife in conditions
of a megacity and to developed ecological conditions in city.

| Krasnojartsev call to not use polyethylene packages |
 The
labour group of the chapter of city of Krasnoyarsk is going to call krasnojartsev to
replace polyethylene packages for purchases by bags from plashchevki. On
May, 15th the presentation of work of one of
brigades of labour group of mayor of Krasnoyarsk takes place in professional liceum 41, realizing
the
ecological program « the Green purse ». The similar action the management of
labour group and the regional ecological union try to draw attention of
the townspeople to a problem of environmental contamination and to show alternative
to polyethylene packages: materchatye bags are more practical, more durable and do
not put such damage of ecology, as polythene.

| Ecologists of Moscow have fined builders |
|
 The
Moscow ecologists have fined builders on 3 million rub for infringement
of the nature protection legislation. 89 checks which have
been lead within the limits of the action « the Pure wheel », have revealed 79 infringements
of
the nature protection legislation. Checks have shown, that on Moscow strojkah
many ecological requirements till now are not carried out. In particular, on 18
strojkah wheels of the transport leaving in city do not wash, and on 17
not authorized dumps of building dust are found out. On many
strojkah rules of protection of green plantings and conditions of
cutting down of trees are broken.

| What inhabitants of the countries influence ecology is worse |

that the way of life of Russians influences an environment, than
citizens of the leading countries of the Europe, and even the USA more positively. These data
have been received during
formation of index Greendex ("grindeks") which estimates
influence of a way of life of the population of the various countries on ecological
conditions. Four basic items were considered: habitation, transport,
products and the other goods. Research has shown, that the way of life and
a way of consumption of inhabitants of developing countries least harms
to an environment, unlike a way of life of the population of the developed countries.

Russians are not satisfied by ecological conditions in that city,
area where they live - consider its very bad or more likely bad, than
good.
Such data have published recently on the basis of results of the interrogation lead in 46 regions of Russia on April, 11-15th, 2008.
The raised dissatisfaction - in age group 40-54 years (71 %),
at persons with higher education (70). Are less exacting to ecology of the person with
formation below an average (63), it is even less - youth 18-24 years (58).

| In the Vladimir area use OOPT now is adjusted by the law |
 Deputies
of Legislative Assembly have passed the law " About especially protected natural
territories of the Vladimir area ". The law will adjust
use of such territories for preservation and developments
of unique natural complexes, objects vegetative and fauna.
In the Vladimir area is available such 206 territories which
borrow almost 14 % from all area of region. Three from them have
federal value: the National park " Мещера ", two zakaznika -
"Kljazminsky" and "Murom". In total in the field of 36 zakaznikov, 160
nature sanctuaries.

| For pollution of Kerch strait Ukraine has prepared the claim for the Russian shipowners |
 The
government of Ukraine has prepared judicial claims for four Russian shipowners about
the indemnification for pollution of water area and coast of
Kerch strait mineral oil. A question on the sum of indemnification in Ministry
for Protection of the Environment and Natural Resources name "very scrupulous", but confirm,
that it is a question of
1,5 billion dollars.
